ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a digital subscriber line(DSL) technology which enables faster data transmission over traditional copper telephone lines. Due to Voice and Data are transferring in different frequency ranges, ADSL broadband service and voice call service can run in parallel at the same time on the same telephone line.

HiNet provides broadband connections under Best Effort mode based on international standard network quality categorizations. Actual connection speed to Internet varies due to elements including the customers' equipment, software/hardware, distance, customers' IT environment, external bandwidth of visiting websites, the concurrent usage of video value-added services, etc..
